Pellet Protagonist  Went to Brightleaf today and ate at Mt Fuji. It was delicious. Then afterwards, we had dessert at Amelia's. Wow. It was delectable. And the weather is so perfect. We are going canoe camping this weekend. We paddle to a platform on the river and spend the night under the stars. The next day we paddle another few miles back to the car. I am so excited. I love camping and I'm anxious to try out these platforms. PrplCow is trying to decide where to go to high school next year. Lots to consider. I pray we make a good choice. Spring Break I is next week. Spring Break II is in three weeks. Wow, time is flying!! Pellet What a great day. Worked this morning and was able to get my last proposal in the mail and catch up on some bookkeeping. Then we had a lunch on SSME for getting the job out the door last week. Came home and took Tucker to the Eagle Spur trail to the lake. Total about 4-5 miles. He ran with Coda and swam in the water. He loved it and should be tired. He is pretty stinky though because he and Coda found some deer carcass and they rolled in it and ran around trying to tease each other with little pieces of bone and meat hanging out of their mouths. I found it repulsive. SB remembered to pick up her sister. I am so excited that she is getting responsible. I hope finishing the book was an inspiration. I am so proud of her for finishing it. She worked so hard and took it all the way to the end! I don't know how many times she has started a story and never finished! Wow. You go girl! Meeting tonight, tomorrow, Wednesday and Pillow Dance Thursday. Have to make time for Bible Study and 24. Guess I should shut down this computer that is hogging my time and get my little self in gear, huh? Pellet Shaved Tucker this morning. Well, at least I gave him a trim on his front legs. He is getting a bigger trim tomorrow when I have more time. He is so cute, but he sheds a lot! And he is so furry. And his hair is so long. Went to Jordan today. Seems nice. Our tour guide was very knowledgable. She was impressive and made the school seem that way too. Yesterday I turned in the application for DSA. Wonder if she'll get in. Going to an Oyster Roast this afternoon. Big Mardis Gras party at an architect's office in Raleigh. It was fun last year. Lots of food, a masseuse, delicious food, a magician doing card tricks and good food. Oh, and they had food too. Sunny and warm today. Calling for snow and ice tomorrow. How can that be? Found this cool place to canoe camp on the Roanoke River. You paddle in and then set up your tent on a platform that is built over the water. How cool is that? I'll bet the night sky is gorgeous and the sounds of nature are astounding!! We are planning a weekend trip in March. I hope the weather will cooperate. Tootles. Pellet Been a while. I have been enjoying doing DDR and I'm trying to get better than Puplcow. That may be hard. I get up almost every morning and dance before I go to work. I get tired of the music, but so far, I don't get tired of the game. I have improved a lot and had a blast when I could finally do Healing Vision. Yesterday I got a B! Watch our standard mode, here I come!! Had so much fun Contra Dancing last weekend. I get so dizzy, but it is worth it for an hour or so of fun,fun,fun. I am hoping we can go to the Swing for the Animals in a couple of weeks. Never been swing dancing, but I'd do it for the APS! My friend called today about planning our week of backpacking. I am so excited that I found a friend who likes it too. Just found out she is going to the Czech Republic on a walking vacation this summer. I'm green. Planning a couple of college tours over Spring Break. I am excited. I hope SB is too. At least we will see what they are like. I can't believe she will be heading off to college next year. I'm not old enough to have a daughter in college!! Better get to work. Pellet Had a good day. Hubby is sick, but he has slept about 20 hours today, so maybe he'll feel better soon. Tucker-dog is barely breathing because he played with the girls, then SB took him to the park and then he played with Anakin. He is so tired he can hardly lift his head. Today is the year anniversary of Muffin's death. Prplcow was very sad. She had a memorial for him. I cried. I miss him too. Tucker was there and Dixie, Ashlee and Ginger all came to the edge of their fences and watched. Prplcow gave them all a treat in memory. It was nice. I love my family. They are always there for me and help me work through the tough spots and see the good things and enjoy the good things. Being in a family is hard but very rewarding. I like it when we talk things through and understand and share love with each other. xo xo xo to my family. Mommypellet Sooo. Here I am. Not that it really matters because no one reads it and even if they did they wouldn't comment. Today is such a pretty day. Wish it would stay warm and dry so I could take Tucker out. I hate it that he never walks on a leash without pulling. I love to walk, but not in circles!!
this quiz by orsa Christmas Day, 2005. It has been a good day. We wanted to go to church this morning, but decided to stay home and visit with Mimi since she would not be able to stay long. The Candlelight service last night was really nice. I love to hear "Sweet Little Jesus Boy" from Jim. It is awesome and really puts me in the Christmas spirit. I regret that I didn't invite Cassious to join us for church last night. He was at the Post Office yesterday. I guess it was a "good day" for him, like he told me about those 95 degree days last summer. I still worry about him. I'll have to get him some pancakes for Mickey D's. He says he likes those. Enjoyed seeing the Kincys too. I think they liked the table. Hope it works out for them. Tucker is so cute. He wants to play DDR too. I think he'd be good at it too. If we weren't trying to train him to stay off the dance mats, I'd like to see what his score would be. Could probably beat me!! I'll have to get up early tomorrow to get in some dancing time before the girls get out of bed! Off to bed myself for the night. Pellet I had a good run this morning. It was about 30 degrees and a just-past full moon. Tucker was glad to be out and getting some exercise. It rained Saturday night, so ShoeBox couldn't take him to the dog park yesterday. He really likes to go to the park with her. They both like it. You should see her car though! Messy! And she had to give him three baths on Saturday to get all the dirt off from his romp Saturday afternoon. Took gifts from church to the Kincy family. Got to see four of the grandbabies and three of the children. Of course, the children are all grown now. One of the girls works at Sams. I need to go by later this week and say hi. They moved into a new house and their kitchen table broke in the move. I think we'll get them a new one for Christmas. I wish it would snow for Christmas. But since it isn't looking too good for snow, at least it will be nice and we can get outside and enjoy the day. We'll probably open gifts and eat breakfast, then head off to church. We gather with the bigger family at 3 for dinner. Guess I'll need to cook most of the early afternoon. Since we didn't get together for Thanksgiving, I am excited to get together for Christmas. Better get to work before my boss gets mad!! Pellet I have two sweet girls and two sweet boys. ShoeBox and Purplecow and Tuckerdog and Pelletman. I am the luckiest girl alive! They are all great and they love me too! PC just got back from diving. She enjoys it a lot and is getting better every night. It was a long practice tonight since she went early! Tuck went to the park with SB. they seemed to have fun. Both were dirty and hyper. Dirty is a good sign. I was hoping they would not be hyper though! Tucker did great on his heel this morning. Maybe he is learning! SB is studying for her three test tomorrow...Wow. I worked all morning and then ran errands this afternoon. Tried to fix supper but the chicken was old and I had to throw it out and get fresh. I need to do some baking. Maybe I should make that cheesecake. If I do, then I'll just eat it! Of course, that doesn't sound too bad, now, does it? Okay better go get my Christmas list and check it twice. |
